Observation notes: Very large male moth. Reddish brown with white spots on upper wings and white stripes on lower wings. About 3.5inches wide (wing tip to wing tip) Legs easily wrapped around my finger. Moth was resting on wood until found, then vibrated it' wings once held. Our habitat: oak/sycamore forest, creek willows, creek, farmland.
