Coordinator notes: Also common name of "Blue-gray Big-eyed Satyr." Note: Because the specimen in this particular photo is very light all over it could be confused with Cissia terestris in the photos in the Grassberg book, but I've learned that we can't base IDs on colors alone or on lightness and darkness. Thus I do not believe it is the Cissia terestris because it does not have the ovate spot between the two lower black eyes, plus Cissia does not have the short reddish-brown line on the HW near the body and head like Blue-gray Big-eyed Satyr in the book and that this specimen has. The photo is not a perfect match (especially in lightness/darkness) but if you notice, the entire photo is very light including the background, possibly in bright sunlight. To me it is a closer match to Blue-gray than any of the other Satyrs. Thus I un-trigger the misidentified flag.
