Observation notes: Dry Warm Day In Anza Borrego Desert State Park. Very little and Very Scattered Summer Monsoons. Little islands of area's that are blooming but drying out very Quickly. Have seen these in Canyons several times very hard to locate as they seem to disappear into thin air blending in so very perfectly. Low numbers of individuals of most of the species we saw Except Mohave Sootywing. Always great to find desert species.
