Observation notes: We were surprised to have such a variety of butterflies in the garden on one day, and this Fritillary was a beauty spending quite a bit of time feeding leisurely throughout the afternoon. It had one encounter with a Monarch, who seemed to resent the Fritillary on lantana!! The Fritillary just moved to other plants.
