Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Central Erie County, New York. Found on the floor in the house near two cut flower bouquets. I don't know if it came from the flowers or if it came in on clothing. I had been in the garden, too. It could have come in on its own for that matter. I put it on the pepper plant leaf for photographic purposes only.

Coordinator notes: I don't see other sightings in NY State, but C. luteola does occur across the northern tier of the US, and across southern Canada. See photos in MPG: http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.edu/species.php?hodges=10332 JRains
