Observation notes: Attracted to MV lamp / blacklight on low-density residential property with a wide variety of cultivated trees (maple, birch, holly, pine, weeping willow) and small pond. Estimated wingspan of 47 mm based on measurements of winglength (base to apex) and thorax width (L base to R base); second uploaded photo explains exactly how these two measurements were taken, superimposed over an actual measurement shot of the moth at rest. Apparent body length of 24 mm.
