Observation notes: One of five individuals of this species observed along the Blue Water River Walk in downtown Port Huron, St. Clair County, Michigan. The walk is a beautifully restored native prairie/shrub habitat on abandoned industrial sites. The site was restored by The Friends of the St. Clair River and the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. The walk is also one of the butterfly monitoring routes supported by the Michigan Butterfly Network.
