Coordinator notes: Marc, I think this is Apache Skipper, one of our few autumn-emerging species. It looks a lot like Pahaska, Viridis and Branded, but note the white on each antenna just behind the apiculus. The ventral hindwing spot pattern is like that on the others but the spots are smaller and less connected, on a darker, almost green ground color. If you have other photos, please share them and we can confirm. This is a true SW species, very limited range, very few LA county records. Nice find by you!
