Observation notes: Insect was on a sliding glass door for several hours; cloudy day. Size: approximately 1 inch long by 1.5 inches wide. Native plants include: Butterfly weed; spicebush; euonymus americana; helianthus species and others. Photos taken from angle; insect was flat against glass door.
