Date notes: In the backyard near the apple tree this butterfly flew around a bit before landing on a large green leave on the apple tree.

Observation notes: The butterfly landed on a leaf, spread it's wings out and laid flat on said leaf. Then it would move again and go to a different leaf. It was a singular butterfly, and it was absorbing nutrients from the apple tree's leave. Weather was warm, not humid and sunny outside.
