Observation notes: Very Small Fritillary smallest I have ever seen, early just after 9am still cool very fast flier easily startled did not return to meadow. clear day calm these are the only shots i could get, there were also other frit's but they looked huge compared to this. this was the first orange butterfly that i saw I thought it was a crescent at first as it was about same size.
