Observation notes: There were 3 of these caterpillars on my front porch. They are 2 1/2-3 inches long. There are roses, pansies on the porch. Lots of other plants in the garden, like hostas. They were walking through the pansy pots, but not eating the leaves. Found one still there 2 hours later.
