Observation notes: Elevation: ~8,880 ft. (montane). Notes: There were many greater fritillaries at this location; I got a close-up look at two of them (both pictured here). Due to the blue-gray eye color and the characteristics of the submarginal markings on the hindwing, I'm confident these are Northwestern Fritillaries.
