Observation notes: Weather: Mostly sunny and 87 degrees. Notes: There were several White-lined Sphinx Moths at the CSU flower gardens; this one was nectaring on Flame Violet Garden Phlox (Phlox paniculata). However, most of the sphinx moths preferred a red cultivar of bee balm (Monarda sp.).
