Observation notes: I observed this single Shasta Blue in the rocky alpine tundra near Crown Point, at about 11,400 feet.

Coordinator notes: Correct ID, the uns is very "clear" white. Most have more gray in the ground color. You should catch a series of these for comparison to material in the CSU Gillette collection. It could be a new subspecies, somewhat isolated from the other high mountains but proximate to other lower altitude populations in North Park (which are also very grayish not so white on the uns).
