Date notes: I had set up my camera to photograph my hummingbird at the feeder when this little man came gliding in! I followed it with my camera and he stayed around then sat, I was in awe!

Observation notes: beautiful day, clear and warm. this butterfly was gliding in circular figures around my tree where I hang the hummingbird feeder. he was in no rush, just enjoying the trees and shrubs. in fact he was no fear around me coming in quite close and then moving away but he sat not too far away and stayed a bit while I moved my camera to him.
