Coordinator notes: This is actually an Uncas Skipper, Hesperia uncas. The Western Branded Skipper lacks the prominent white veining and brown coloration on the ventral hindwing. Also, the Uncas typically prefers grassland-type habitat, while the Western Branded prefers scrubland-type habitat.
