Coordinator notes: I think you forwarded this to me directly and I previously confirmed the identification. Beautiful newly emerged Great Blue Hairstreak. The host is mistletoe that grows in clumps on juniper trees. The early flight is in mid to late April and they are also not always very commonly observed. Very difficult butterfly to capture in such good condition for a collection, actually something of a prize for the collector. Mike
