Observation notes: This swallowtail bat its wings furiously the entire time it fed on these flowers at the demonstration gardens. Stayed around them for about 10 minutes then flew over to another flower bed with the same flowers, then after a few minutes back to this one. Wings a little tattered. Size: Approx. 3" wingspan. Weather: 91 degrees, 48% humidity, mostly sunny skies.
