Observation notes: At least 10 fritillaries were flying near the pull-off. Most appeared to be aphrodite fritillaries (after looking at photos and guides), a few were great spangled fritillaries. There were a couple of other species of butterflies there too. Many were sitting together in the gravel, others were landing on various grasses and flowers including butterfly milkweed.
