Observation notes: The individual was photographed in a back dune swale of North Beach on St. Catherines Island, GA. It was nectaring on Phyla nodiflora. Small amounts of its host plant, Bacon monnieri, grow in a nearby slough but I believe this was a migrant. The White Peacock has only be recorded on the island this one time.
