Observation notes: Noticed it on a north facing doorframe of exit (facing lake). Probably there earlier. Gone early evening, before dark. Warm sunny day. Changed position only slightly before disappearing. Mostly pine trees, a few poplars, maples, and moosewood trees. Lots of ferns and other ground cover in this habitat.
