Date notes: On the road which was warming up but damp after chilly rain overnight. I'm not sure what this is.

Observation notes: Sunny, cool, damp road from rain. This insect didn't move very much in the minutes I spent photographing it. It was fairly small, about an inch across one wing, or two inches across both.
