Coordinator notes: Thanks for contributing! This is a male Zarucco Duskywing, which can look very similar to the Wild Indigo Duskywing. A few things to note include the very dark forewing ground color, the lack of a distinct dark "fingers" pattern outlined in silvery scaling on the forewings outside of the subapical spots (although this can be present in the spring phenotype of the Zarucco Duskywing), relatively slender and pointed forewing shape, slim and not very well-defined pale forearm patch which lacks significant silvery scaling, relatively well-aligned subapical spots, and less prominent white rings on the antennae.
