Observation notes: Perched on Erigonum compositum leaf in a meadow in conifer forest with wyethia, nine-leaf desert parsley, Lathyrus pea, and other flower species. Fresh individual, interesting dark orange VFW leading edge. Mild, sunny afternoon, temperature low 70s F with light wind. Several individuals present. Added a photo showing a glimpse of the DFW leading edge.

Coordinator notes: This is a hard one because sheridanii & affinis look very much alike, but so far as I know, affinis is not in Fort Hood County-Ken Davenport
