Observation notes: Perched on glass and rocks near wash in Rose Valley area of Los Padres National Forest. Altitude ~3500ft. Partly cloudy day in the 60’s F. Tough call between Lupine Blue or Acmon. Both California Buckwheat and Deervetch Lotus host plants in the area. This individual does have a thicker, feathered black border and the black marginal bars visible. Could be Lupine Blue?
