Coordinator notes: Ezee, thanks for submitting this observation. The relationship between Dury's and Mexican metalmarks east of Las Cruces is curious (as best we know). They almost seem to co-occur, but Mexican is higher with 2 annual broods while Dury's is lower with 3 annual broods. Also different host plants. The large amount of dark scaling on the upper side rules out Dury's, which is very 'blonde.'
