Orange Sulphur
Colias eurytheme

Observation date: May 10, 2019
Submitted by: WINGSaloftinKS
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: Saw this Sulphur flying around a grassy field about 25' away from a large community vegetable garden behind a small wooded area. Came near the mowed path with grass clippings that was fairly soggy from rain yesterday. Pretty pale, couldn't ever see its wings opened. I *think* (?) it might have been the white female form Clouded Sulphur, but am not sure. Size: Approx. 2" wingspan. Weather: 58 degrees, partly sunny, 60% humidity.
