Observation notes: The plant is a Rhaphiolepis of the family Rosaceae. I am not sure of its exact variety. It is not native to this area. I could see six of these caterpillars crawling on different leaves of this particular bush. Also, I am attaching four photos that may or may not be related. At first, I thought they were two different species, but upon closer inspection feel they may be same at different stages. The last photo (larva-ojai_valley-california-xplormor_international-2.jpg) was taken on 4/7/19.
