  Sighting 1202017

Observation date: April 07, 2019
Submitted by: Christian.Nunes
Specimen type: Photograph
Observation notes: One of about a dozen seen. Conveniently perched on the sunny side of a small vertical cliff where it allowed me close approach.
Status: Resident
Verified by: mikefisher
Verified date: July 24, 2019
Coordinator notes: This one seems to have a fuller, darker than average wing border and small spots at edge on the hindwings. It could possibly be a Dark Comma (Polygonia oreas nigrozephyrus - which use to be referred to as the "Dark Zephryus") but since we don't a photo of the underside or a specimen to examine I'll stick with a Hoary Comma conclusion.
