Observation notes: Thousands of these on Mustard and Daisy's also stopping on any and all Blooms way to many to mention also mournful dusky, Anise Swallowtail, Umber Skipper, Bramble Hairstreak, Gray Hairstreak, Cabbage White, Checkered White, Sara Orange Tip, Cloudless Sulphur, Others! Mass Migration going strong I was seeing Painted Ladies on the move on Homes as the sky was just getting Light at first I thought there moths then i remembered about what they were and as it got light I could see so very many getting there day started. Also Gulf Frit Fresh hatch today! Very few hill Topping butterflies as they seem to be disturbed by the mass migration. My Guess is they got swept up in it and went along, even saw sara flying along. Today the wind was out of the east and the Painted Lady migration was flying right into it, the last few days the wind was out of the west and butterflies were going north west following the Coastline rather than flying out over the water!
