Observation notes: Five black, spiny caterpillars made cocoons on our porch. This morning, the butterflies emerged. The color on the wings became more yellow as the wings dried.

Coordinator notes: NOTE; The submitter used "Actinote leucomelis" which online is spelled "leucomelas" and did not match his photos. I find that "anteas" is a better match or possibly "Actinote guatemalena" which is not in our system now. Anteas and guatemalena are similar and I might have chosen guatemalena had it been in system.
