Observation notes: Partly cloudy, mid-60's, breezy. Some plants blooming at this time were Phlox, Delphinium, Dandelions, Wallflowers and Wax Currants. This was one of multiple butterflies seen on the road near a lake.

Coordinator notes: Yes, also known as the Spring Azure when there were not so many species discovered! This one from your Mill Creek area has a partially darkened margin on the underside of the hindwings which is found in locations that generally warm less quickly in spring. Mike
