Observation notes: Is this a rare black and white monarch caterpillar? It was taken from a passion vine in Naples, FL. There's lots of milkweed around the vine. I have it in my butterfly box and suspect it will be a chrysalis in the morning (hanging vertical from top of box). I have another photo of it alongside a normal looking monarch.
