Observation notes: Saw several of these on the yellow daisies at the park in the butterfly beds. These yellow daisies were planted among some purple potato vine. Some were smaller than others. They stayed pretty much in the same place over the centers of the flowers for a minute or two, only rotating a little bit. Weather: 81 degrees, 40% humidity approx. Size: Both approx. 2-2.25" wingspan (Enclosing photos of two of them I saw/photographed; one had some white marking---like the color was scraped off?---at the bottom of its right hind wing; the daisy it was on was directly between the purple potato vine leaves.)
