Observation notes: Was feeding on Rubber Rabbit Brush blossoms--as were hundreds of other. North Sterling (Colorado) State Park.

Coordinator notes: This is indeed a sulphur as you suggested; the tiny Dainty Sulphur, a frequent late summer/early fall colonist in Colorado. They're usually found inhabiting shortgrass prairie and all types of dry, weedy habitats (though water is sometimes nearby, as in this case). You say there were hundreds of them on the rabbitbrush? I've never known them to gather in such numbers before, so they must be having a really good population explosion out east!
