Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America freely available. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Coordinator notes: This is a very good record for Fresno County, there are very few records for this species in Fresno County. Parnassius smintheus does make it into northernmost California, but the Sierran ones in that group is behrii, elevated to species status in 1998 in the Systematics of Western North America book. Yours is a female-Ken Davenport Added comment: I have another record of this species from that county and I would like to publish both, but I need your real name to do that for a scientific record.
