Observation notes: This was the first day of this summer that the butterfly was here. There was a patch of zinnia flowers just beyond where he landed. He was on a grape leaf. Other butterflies present on the zinnias were many monarchs. The butterfly was only here that morning, and not later in the day when I went to look again and I believe he was the only one that looked like him.
