Observation notes: the caterpillar is sitting on an agapash plant of which it fed and was covered in wasp cocoons, which I took off and I was wondering if the caterpillar might have a chance to survive. I will keep on watching it to see what will happen to it. The photos show the caterpillar first with the cocoons and then after I have taken them off. Can you please identify the caterpillar ?
