Our summer fundraiser has arrived, and we need your help!
We depend on donations to keep Butterflies and Moths of North America online and free. If everyone who uses this resource makes a donation, we could cover our ongoing costs, develop new features, upgrade the system, and maybe even remove those pesky ads. Please make a one-time or recurring donation to show your support for this valuable source of information. Thank you!
Observation notes: Jeromi Hefner, Phillip Wallace, and I observed at least six different individuals in about 2 hours in early to mid morning, flying with Delaware and Salt Marsh Skippers (observations submitted separately), along the Blue Goose Trail in Sabine National Wildlife Refuge. The photos here show four different individuals. This species has been documented in the extensive brackish and salt marsh of this area (Marks, C. 2018. Butterflies of Louisiana: A Guide to Identification and Location. LSU Press).
