Observation notes: Noticed this Admiral first on the pole of our umbrella over some annuals, celosia and pink coneflowers. Then it flew over to a very large pot we have (4' tall). Turned my flash on, because it was in the shadows, and I'm glad because it really shows its amazing colors and patterns. Size: Approx. 2.25" wingspan. Weather: Approx. 82 degrees, 60% humidity, sunny with a light breeze.
