Observation notes: This little creature was on my mailbox when I left for work in the morning and still there at lunchtime. It was gone by evening though. I had been worried the mail carrier would harm it, opening the box. But I had no mail in my box so that wasn't the case. I've never seen such a creature as this. Maybe it's a moth. I've looked through my butterfly and moth books and can't find this one.
