Observation notes: There are many of these moths in the area. 10’s of moth take to the air as we walk near bushes and decks. They are out during the day and seem to gravitate towards cool shaded places. It has been unusually hot for the south suburbs of Chicago(Frankfort, IL). These moths are so numerous that there are multiple mentions of them on social media.
