Observation notes: After leaving the Baker Wetlands, I went through the drive-thru at McDonald's where I saw this fritillary flying around and nectaring on the bright yellow marigolds in the flower bed. Nearby flowers included dark purple petunias. Also the smell of French fries. Size: Approx. 2-2.25" wingspan. Weather: Hot, humid and windy.
