Observation notes: Observed nectaring on probable Nakedstem Sunray (Enceliopsis nudicaulis) flowers and perching on bare rock on the top of a hill in the Eldorado Community Preserve. The butterfly was continually and rapidly opening and closing its wings as it perched on the rocky outcrops. Video of this behavior was taken.
