Observation notes: It was sunny and a little windy. This butterfly landed on a co-worker, I put my hand next to it, it came onto my hand. Then, I walked around with it on my hand for a good 5 minutes before I drove home with it still on my hand. I was surprised it stayed so long, but it was nice because we homeschool and it was a great science lesson! Once my son was done observing it, it just.... flew away. Fluttered its wings and with no hesitation, just flew away!
