Coordinator notes: The chain-like band of spots on the forewings is diagnostic for the Dreamy Duskywing. There are three or four distinct white spots at the top edge of the wing on the Persius Duskywing and the spotting below is much reduced and not so "linked" together. It looks like there are two such spots at the top of the wings at the start of the spot band on the one in your photo but note they are elongated and not rounded as hyaline spots are on most of the other Duskywing species (except Erynnis brizo, the Sleepy Duskywing also does not have hyaline spots on the forewings).
