Observation notes: Mostly cloudy, very humid, about 89 degrees. These caterpillars were on a single leaf of a butterfly weed plant (orange milkweed). Nearby were thyme, echinacea, peppers, tomatoes, cardinal flower (lobelia), basil sage, yellow crook-neck squash, sugar maple. These are part of the same group as in sighting 1179419.
