Observation notes: Time: ~9:45 p.m. Habitat: A large patch of very tall sunflowers (pictured here) on the edge of a front yard, next to a driveway. Notes: I captured this noctuid for my National Moth Week "moth house" as it hovered at sunflowers to nectar. I'm not sure if it's E. auxiliaris or a closely related species.
