Observation notes: Sunshine, 70's. Saw several butterflies, quite active, flitting about through native coastal scrub vegetation. At most in one spot, saw four around a large Eriogonum parvifolium shrub. Other sightings were solitary, and predominately on buckwheats. Butterflies are small, perhaps an inch.
